Steven Murphy-Chief Executive Officer
Steven Murphy has 25 years experience leading innovation and driving profitable growth with public and venture backed software technology companies. Steven brings significant content and data management domain expertise to Metalogix from his prior positions as CEO of Softek, the leader in enterprise data migration solutions, and IBM’s Data Mobility services group following IBM’s acquisition of Softek in 2007. In 2003, he led the management buyout of Softek from Fujitsu Ltd. where he served as CEO of Fujitsu Software Inc. and its predecessor Amdahl Software.
Steven serves as a senior advisor to private equity firms and board director on strategic turnarounds. He has served as chairman of the board of directors for Fujitsu Softek, ObjectStar International, Plasmon Holdings, Inc. and Reldata and currently serves on the Metalogix International Holdings Board of Directors. Steven received his B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Mount Saint Mary’s University, is married with two children, and resides in Washington D.C. He is a national award winner of the Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year, a former Director of the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA),Trustee of Mount Saint Mary’s University and Seminary, a Parent Director for Trinity College, Connecticut and Centennial committee member at Saint Albans School in Washington D.C.
Rick Rolandi-Chief Financial Officer
Rick brings more than 30 years of financial and operational leadership with a proven track record of execution, having served as CFO for both venture-backed private software companies and publicly listed technology companies. Rick’s recent experience includes overseeing the financial strategy, capital structuring and profit improvement of Vovici, a SaaS based on-line survey solutions. Prior to joining Vovici, Rick served as Chief Financial Officer of Softek Storage Solutions Corporation, a provider of data migration software. While in this role, he was responsible for overseeing the finance, legal, information technology, and human resources business functions, supporting the Company's efforts to becoming a leader in the data migration space. Softek was acquired by IBM in 2007.
Previously, Rick served as CFO of DataDirect Technologies, where under his leadership the Company's first two fiscal years as an independent company resulted in consecutive year-over-year increases in revenues and profitability, while also generating over 30% operating cash flows. DataDirect was acquired by Progress Software in 2004. Rick was also the CFO of two NASDAQ listed companies, Landmark Systems and Data Measurement Corporation. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard University.
Tim Summers-Senior Vice President Product Management and Support
Tim has almost 25 years of experience leading product development organizations in defining and developing product offerings, primarily in storage management markets. Tim’s most recent experience was at Plasmon Systems, driving the product delivery of NAS based archive appliances, where he oversaw all facets of product development, including product management, software and hardware engineering, testing, quality assurance, documentation and global product support. Prior to Plasmon, Tim held leadership roles with Softek Storage Solutions then acquired by IBM, bringing to market ground breaking host based Storage Management, real-time Storage Migration, synchronous / a-synchronous replication and Disaster Recovery based products for the Windows, Unix, Linux and z/OS platforms.
Tim’s other past leadership roles include stints at Legent Corporation, acquired by Computer Associates, driving the development of their 27 Storage Performance and IT Administration product offerings with related revenue growth from $30 million to $150 million, as well as MAX/M Systems acquired by Boole & Babbage, McCabe & Associates acquired by Oridium LLC, and Information Analysis Inc.
Tim holds a B.S. in Computer Science with concentrations in Mathematics and Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, is married with 2 children, and resides in Northern Virginia. Tim also holds and has been a driving force in the development of Patents in the area of Systems Management and Hierarchical Storage Management intellectual property.
Mandy Sadowski-Vice President, Global Marketing
Mandy is a marketing veteran with extensive experience in enterprise software that embraces and extends Microsoft SharePoint and Exchange.
Mandy's most recent experience was at Quest Software where she led a team responsible for planning, executing and measuring global marketing programs. This included integrating acquired companies and technologies into strategic go-to-market plans, developing product messaging and communicating and coordinating global campaign launches across the company. Prior to that, she was Director of Product Marketing for Quest's emerging SharePoint business, where she built the team and helped develop awareness for Quest in this growing technology space. Mandy's career also includes marketing roles in a small software start-up and at the global engineering firm ABB.
Mandy holds a bachelor's in Journalism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a masters from The Ohio State University.
