Abe Peled - Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Abe Peled is a Partner at CyberCloud Ventures, a Consulting and Investment Company. He is also a Senior Adviser to the Permira Private Equity TMT Group and Chairman of the Board of TeamViewer, and on the Operating Committee of Metalogix, both Permira portfolio companies. Abe is also the Senior Independent Director on the Board of Inmarsat Plc.

From 1995, Dr. Peled served as CEO of NDS Group Ltd, and lead the company until its acquisition by Cisco for $5B in 2012. Following the acquisition he served as Senior Vice President of Strategy at Cisco’s Video and Collaboration Group until January 2014.

Prior to joining NDS, Dr. Peled was Vice President at IBM’s Research Division in the US where he had worldwide management responsibility for Systems and Software, and at Elron in Israel, where he served as Senior Vice President for Business Development.

Dr. Peled has a PhD in digital signal processing from Princeton University as well as BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Institute in Israel.

Dr. Peled is the co-author of the first undergraduate text book on Digital Signal Processing, published by John Wiley in 1976, and has served on the National Academy of Sciences Computer Science and Telecommunications Board from 1988 to 1993. In March 2013 he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by Digital TV Europe.



Nick Margarites
Nick Margarites - Chief Financial Officer

Nick has over 25 years of financial and management experience from his tenure in public accounting and private and public companies.

Prior to joining Metalogix, Nick held VP of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer positions at Sourcefire Inc., a network security firm, and was part of the executive management team to take the company public in 2007. Nick began his career at Sourcefire in 2003 guiding the company from its early stages through the IPO and significant growth periods. He was responsible for financial reporting, SEC reporting, tax, SOX, FP&A and treasury until its acquisition by Cisco Systems Inc. in 2013 for $2.8 billion. Nick then continued on at Cisco for a short period to lead the accounting and finance integration team. Prior to Sourcefire, Nick was Controller of Paratek Microwave Inc., a venture-backed wireless telecommunication company and CFO of NCF Inc., a commercial design and flooring company. Nick began his career as a CPA and spent nine years in public accounting where he worked on audits, tax and consulting engagements for a diverse client base.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland at College Park and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Paul Bjarnason - Senior Vice President, Operations, Renewals and Support
Paul Bjarnason - Senior Vice President, Operations, Renewals and Support

Paul came to Metalogix with over two decades of experience with professional services companies and independent software vendors. As Senior Vice President of Operations, Renewals and Support, Paul is responsible for the teams supporting global customer sales, support and maintenance renewals and customer technical support. Prior to joining Metalogix, Paul held executive management positions at IBM Global Services (by way of IBM’s acquisition of Softek Storage Solutions) and most recently led the worldwide operations team focused on data mobility solutions supporting the brand’s data migration and replication solutions in mainframe and distributed environments. Leading up to his tenure at IBM, Paul held various sales and financial management positions at MicroStrategy, WorldStor, and General Dynamics (previously Anteon).

Matthew Bründl-Pandzich - Director, Archiving Business Unit

Matt is an experienced and innovative leader in the business of content infrastructure software. He is responsible for driving the market growth, customer satisfaction and product innovation of the Exchange Archive Manager product line, the market-leader in email archiving. Matt joined Metalogix in 2008 as the company acquired the Archive Manager product.

Previously, Matt has led product and account management of content management solutions at General Motors, Compuware, and Gradepoint Inc., which was acquired by Adayana in 2009. Anthony Daubenmerkl - Vice President, Global Product Support
Anthony Daubenmerkl - Vice President, Global Product Support

Anthony has been widely recognized as a tireless customer advocate for over 20 years, leading customer support teams in software and technology to provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction. He provides hands on leadership supporting our LIVE 24 by 7 customer care and support operation and is chiefly responsible for our customers highest satisfaction. He joined Metalogix in March 2011 from Alliance Storage Technologies where he rebuilt the worldwide support team for optical archiving and network-attached-storage (NAS). Under his leadership, the Alliance support teams consistently earned high marks for customer satisfaction, even as the company and products were in transition.

Jim Gannon - Senior Vice President of Global Sales

Jim is responsible for global sales and channels, and is a results-oriented sales executive with more than 20 years experience building enterprise-class sales organizations, both domestically and internationally. Joining Metalogix in June 2015, Jim’s previous experience involved developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for all of the customer-facing field activities at HyTrust, a high-growth Silicon Valley company specializing in solutions that provide security, compliance and operational assurance for private, hybrid and public clouds.

Previously, Jim led Global Accounts at VMware, where he built a high performing team that delivered double-digit growth rates across Fortune 500 companies in the financial services, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, high technology, and oil and gas verticals. Earlier in his career, Jim held executive positions in sales at EMC and GE Capital. Jim has led and scaled go-to market organizations globally for multinational, publicly traded companies as well as venture backed start-ups.

Trevor Hellebuyck - Chief Technology Officer for Product Management and Architecture

Trevor is a recognized SharePoint innovator and the principal architect of StoragePoint, the ground-breaking storage optimization software for SharePoint, and leads our cross-product technology integration and new product innovation planning initiatives. Trevor joined Metalogix in 2010 with the acquisition of BlueThread Technologies. He was instrumental in the launch and growth of StoragePoint while serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of BlueThread Technologies, a company focused on developing applications for Microsoft products and technologies. StoragePoint has become the #1 Remote BLOB Storage (RBS) solution in the market. Prior to BlueThread, Trevor led technology teams in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Enterprise Application Integration at NuSoft Solutions, acquired by RCM Technologies in 2008.

Mike Lees - Chief Marketing Officer

From accountant and financial analyst to entrepreneur and go-to-market strategist, Mike Lees’ professional journey has armed him with a unique set of skills and perspective which he brings to his role as CMO at Metalogix. Prior to joining the company, Lees served as CMO at WealthEngine where he was responsible for all elements of marketing strategy – including product marketing, demand generation, and corporate marketing. Prior to WealthEngine, Lees held the position of Vice President Enterprise Business Line at IntraLinks, where he was responsible for go-to-market strategy for IntraLinks’ Enterprise, Platform and Emerging business lines.

Previously, Lees held senior marketing management roles at Software AG and webMethods. Lees also founded and served as CEO of Cerebra, where he successfully secured multi-million dollar VC funding rounds, grew the company to a market leadership position and then led the company through an extremely positive acquisition by webMethods. He also founded and served as CEO of Network Inference, where he negotiated successful transfer of technology, secured multi-million dollar funding and again led the company to a market leadership position. Lees commenced his career in the financial world, serving as a Technology Fund Manager and Technology Analyst at CIS; as well as an Accountant at KPMG.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Durham University in North East England.

Renata is a creative and innovative infrastructure software architect, developer, and project manager with over 15 years of experience leading teams and projects in enterprise technology development. Since September 2012, Renata has transformed the product development and engineering capabilities of the Archive Manager solution from a regional leader in on Premise Email and File Archive solution to a powerful Hybrid Cloud Archive solution serving over 4000 customers globally. Previously she was the Head of Development at Slovanet and focused significantly on enterprise software development in ERP, CRM, database solutions, and software integration (SAP).

She holds a dual master’s degree from the University of Matej Bel in Slovakia in both Fine Art/Computer Graphics and IT, and is certified in ITIL and PRINCE2 project management. She lives in Slovakia with her family and can be reached at r.rybanska@metalogix.com.

Kim Schulze - Vice President of Human Resources

Kim joined Metalogix with over 25 years’ experience leading human resources departments for technology companies in both public and private sectors. Before joining Metalogix, she served as Vice President Human Resources at Earth Networks, Inc. and was Vice President Human Resources at Softek Storage Solutions, which was subsequently acquired by IBM. She also held the position of Vice President Human Resources, at OTG Software, acquired by LEGATO Systems, which was in turn acquired by EMC. In addition to her success in talent acquisition, human capital development, and employee relations, she has led change management, due diligence, integration and assimilation initiatives during multiple corporate acquisitions.

Kim attended Penn State University and lives in Maryland with her family.

David Seaman - Senior Vice President of Development & CTO

David brings to Metalogix a successful track record in building high-growth technology companies, with a deep understanding of the Microsoft technical and architectural development platforms as well as a thorough understanding of the customer’s content management challenges. David leads the global Development and Engineering resources for our team and joined the management team through the acquisition of Syntergy’s SharePoint assets. In 2002, he founded Syntergy and led the development and marketing of Replicator, the game-changing leader in SharePoint synchronization.

David held roles as the President/CEO and founder of InfoDesign Corporation, a document management software company, and as both VP of Professional Services and VP of Advance Technology at Open Text Corporation. He also served as the Executive Vice President of Development for MobileQ, a mobile software company acquired by Viafone, integrating both development teams before a subsequent sale to Extended Systems. Nimisha joined Metalogix in August 2011 with over eighteen years of experience in high growth, fast paced technology companies. As a Vice President of Finance, she leads global finance and accounting operations, guiding due diligence for Metalogix through four major acquisitions. Prior to joining Metalogix, Nimisha was Global Controller at Cvent and managed 300% revenue growth while simultaneously widening margins over 4 years. She was also part of CGI’s Finance Management team, responsible for a $50M Administrative and Operations budget.

Nathan Trenzinger
Nathan Trenzinger - Vice President of EMEA Sales

With over 20 years of experience across all facets of technology sales and team management, Nathan Trenzinger brings an admirable breadth and depth of expertise to his role at Metalogix. Prior to joining the company, Trenzinger held the position of Sales Director for Mimecast where he was responsible for leading the European sales force, as well as developing key strategic channel partners across the region, which led to year-over-year growth of over 20 percent.

Prior to Mimecast Trenzinger served as Vice President of US/EMEA Channel Sales at AvePoint, where he led the Partner/Alliance Sales Program and distributed Partner Management team. While at AvePoint, he was responsible for doubling the average deal size, doubling partner generated revenue in the U.S. in just one year, and growing partner generated revenues from $1 Million to more than $10 Million in EMEA in just three years. Prior to AvePoint, he held senior level sales and sales management positions with EMC, Quest Software, Computer Associates (CA), Quorum Systems and IBM.

Nathan holds a joint honor’s degree in Computer Science & Marketing from the University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom.

Damon has responsibility for overall strategy, execution and market development. Damon is an accomplished sales and marketing executive with over 18 years of experience building and leading high performance teams in the enterprise software industry.

His successful track record includes leadership roles across a spectrum of IT operations and application management technologies and participation in several strategic exits. Prior to joining Metalogix, Damon was the Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing for MetaVis Technologies where he helped build and execute the overall go-to-market strategy for the organization. He has also held senior management positions at Apptio, NetIQ, PentaSafe and Idera Software.
