Metalogix is the winner of the Gartner IT ChannelVision Fall 2007 event for best xSP Solution: the email archiving software solution, Professional Archive Manager for Exchange. It adds to the already previous award of best email archiving solution 2007 from MSExchange.org, presented to Metalogix in the summer.
Metalogix presented the email archiving product, Professional Archive Manager for Exchange, to a wide audience of IT specialists at the IT Channel Vision Event (Vision Events® is a Gartner, Inc. NYSE:IT Company) held October 2007 in La Quinta, California. The aim of the three week US promotion tour, where IT ChannelVision was a stop, was to continue both the expansion of the distributor network in North America and to strengthen the position of the email archiving software on the US market via new partner channels.
Professional Archive Manager for Exchange Version 3 provides administrators with intelligent tools including integrated Hierarchical Storage Management, direct archiving®, PST gatherer, Enterprise Content Management post-processing and dedicated retention categories in addition to the classic scheduled archiving jobs based on age and size. Organizations can address e-discovery or tackle growing storage issues with comprehensive email lifecycle management or parallel writing onto existing storage media. Users continue to use Outlook, MAC Entourage or mobile devices such as Blackberry to access archived messages.
Email archiving software is one of fastest growing markets worldwide and this trend will continue until 2011 and beyond. According to a study by Gartner the growth will increase by approximately 40% per year. In 2010 a total of 900 million dollars is expected just for new email archiving software licenses.
