SharePoint Site Migration Manager - formerly List and Library Migration Manager - offers a new level of power for organizations transitioning from Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 and SharePoint Portal Server 2003 to Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

Site Copying:

Complete SharePoint site hierarchies can now be migrated in one easy step. Replicate or re-parent site structures, move list and library content, and map content to new site and list templates.

Item Level Copying:

Selectively migrate only specific documents or items from a given list or library. Paging support within the Items view allows you to selectively move content from very large lists.

Copying Only Updated Content:

When re-migrating a list or an entire site, copy only the newly updated content. Quickly synchronize a source and a target without having to re-migrate the whole site.

Copying Site Permissions:

Migrate and map WSSv2 and SPS 2003 site permissions to WSSv3 and MOSS 2007.

Web Parts Copying:

Migrate WSSv2/SPS2003 default web parts to WSSv3 and MOSS 2007.
