WALTHAM, Mass., May 12, 2010 – Metalogix Software, one of the leading providers of solutions for Microsoft SharePoint Server migration and management, today announced that Trevor Hellebuyck, Senior Architect at Metalogix Development, will be a featured presenter during the Dallas stop of Microsoft Corp.’s US ‘The Next Wave of Productivity’ Launch Tour on May 18. Hellebuyck will present “Improving SharePoint Performance, Scalability and Manageability in Minutes,” which includes a customer case study.
Metalogix is a Platinum event sponsor for six of Microsoft’s US Launch Tour Events for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. As a Platinum sponsor, Metalogix will demonstrate its StoragePointsolution, which improves SharePoint Server storage performance and scalability. StoragePoint will also be included in the Microsoft virtual live event video. Metalogix is a gold and silver sponsor for six cities included in the Microsoft Launch Tour.
“Our strong participation as a Platinum sponsor for ‘The Next Wave of Productivity’ launch event demonstrates our commitment to providing innovative solutions to simplify and automate migration and management processes for users moving to SharePoint Server 2010,” said Chris Risley, CEO, Metalogix. “Metalogix is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and our solutions can get organizations up and running with SharePoint Server 2010 on day one. Metalogix delivers powerful migration and management capabilities for organizations looking to quickly embrace the value of this new platform. Our event participation, like our products, enriches and enhances the value delivered by the new SharePoint Server 2010 platform.”
The Dallas presentation will feature a brief case study examining how customers have improved SharePoint Server performance, scalability and manageability by relocating their content (PDFs, TIFs, Microsoft Office documents, etc.) out of the SharePoint Server content databases and onto a file-share. Highly cost-effective tiered storage for SharePoint Server will also be discussed. Tiered storage enables clients to use different levels or tiers of storage, automatically reserving the fastest and most expensive storage devices for actively used content, while leveraging slower, much less expensive storage platforms for archiving, non-critical content or infrequent access.
As a Platinum sponsor, Metalogix will also be prominently featured at future Microsoft launch events in the following cities:
- New York, NY - May 13
- Dallas, TX - May 18
