Metalogix & SharePoint Are Cool!
For the second time running, Metalogix SharePoint 2016 & Office 365 Roadshow brought experts and users of the scene together in Zurich to exchange thoughts on developments, specific and general challenges as well as interesting practical examples.
The major excitement for current and planned technologies was expressed in the stimulating talks during the breaks and after the event. The participants’ feedback, such as “Metalogix & SharePoint are cool!' and the multiple wishes for further demonstration sessions did hint at the participants’ enjoyment.
The event was opened by Jamie McAllister, Office 365 Server & Services MVP, who shared his insights into the current state of SharePoint and the concrete benefits that users will gain from SharePoint 2016.
As he did previously at the roadshow in Cologne, Gary Hughes, EMEA Solutions Engineer at Metalogix UK, shared numerous tips on migrating to SharePoint 2016 and ensured the most practical approach through interviews with the participants, who discussed their current challenges live.
Didier Hubounig, Senior Premier Field Engineer at Microsoft, elucidated concrete innovations and their advantages, among others: changes to the user interface, mobile view and hybrid experience. In doing so, he managed to surprise the audience on several accounts.
Adam Petkovsky, Solutions Engineer at Metalogix, ended the thrilling day with tips for optimal and secure archiving of business-critical data, changes to Exchange 2016 and benefits provided by Office 365.
All the speakers at the Zurich Roadshow were well received by the audience, which was clearly shown in the subsequent feedback. The wide array of topics ensured that each participant gained helpful and useful information. The speakers also ensured that there was sufficient time at the end for individual and targeted questions.
At the subsequent raffle, Christian Knitterscheidt won a brand-new Surface Pro 4. Congratulations!
